Trick or Treat
The kids went trick or treating tonight. Hannah was a crocodile. I took her and her friend Kristen and My niece Mikayla around our neighborhood. Auston started with us but Curt took him back after one road. Josh and Braden made their costumes themselves. I called them alien bobble heads. They went trick or treating with Camron and Josh's friend Micheal. They got to go by themselves this year with no parent. We made some rules and they got our whole neighborhood. WAY TO MUCH CANDY...But a lot of FUN!!!

Stupid Halloween Decorations
Braden told me about a month ago that we have stupid Halloween decorations and we need scary ones. So we made some grave stones to put in the yard and bought a couple of skeletons too. The kids had fun making the head stones. They made up the names to put on them. We had "You Go Here", "Manny Bones", "Hal O Ween" and "Hope and Dreams" (Sponge Bob joke) The kids set everything up today. They put out their pumpkins and some spider webs too. I think it turned out great. We already are making plans for next year and what we want to add to the scary yard.

Jack-O-Lanterns
Last night we made our Jack-O-Lanterns for family night. This is one of my favorite Holiday traditions. Eric does not like doing pumpkins. So we have this deal. I do the pumpkins for Halloween and he makes and decorates sugar cookies for Santa with the kids on Christmas Eve. Works out great. Although this year was not that bad doing pumpkins the boys did everything on theirs by themselves. I think they all turn our great. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Reaching Goals
About a month ago Allie ran a really good race. She was getting excited about how well she was doing. She set the goal right then and there that she wanted to be in the top ten in the region JV race. She started working out with the varsity team. She worked really hard. Last week was the race. We were a little worried for her because it was really cold and she does not breath well in the cold. She ran a really good race. She got a personal best time. 23 min. 35 sec. She passed her friend toward the end and came in 10th place. SHE DID IT! We were all so happy. She said she wanted to come in the top ten or twelfth place. She didn't want eleventh. She said that would be like taking fourth at the Olympics. Rivertons girls did very well in the JV race. They had 6 girls in the first 11 places. Way to go Silverwolves. Next year she is setting her sights on the varsity team.

Carmel Apples-Yummy
Last Saturday Elissa, Clark and kids and Michelle and kids came over to your house to dip Carmel apples. We dipped the apples in the carmel. Then we had milk chocolate and white chocolate to dip in. We had mini m&m's, pecans, sprinkles, and cinnamon to top them off. It was fun. We had a good time. It was great to have Clark with us. He always makes us smile. :) I love this time of year...

USU Marching Band
We took our whole Family and went to the USU vs UofU Football game a few weeks ago and Last Friday Eric and I went up to the USU vs BYU game. The Football games were a little boring but we went to watch Talor march in the Marching Band. Everyone asked Eric who he was wanting to win at the Utah game and he said Utah State and at the BYU game he said Utah State Marching Band. He just couldn't cheer against his good ol' BYU boys. He such a HOMER. :) It is fun to see Talor having a great time at school. She is meeting lots of new people and loves to go do things with them all the time. She went out with a boy in the band the other night. He was from Chicago. Come to find out they are distant cousins from Ebenezer Beesley. Boy the world is really small. Here are some pictures of her marching.
If you can pick her out of the next two pictures your the winner. Eric and I can't ever find her. At the BYU game Eric's sister Raquel and her family were there, they came over by us at half time to talk to us. I was showing where I thought Talor was to Raquel and Eric was showing where he thought Talor was to Todd. We were both showing them different people. We were even looking through binoculars. The really bad part was when we asked her where she was neither one of us was right.

We brought her home with us for conference week-end. It was fun to have her home. But I can certainly tell she is in the right place now. Because it feels right to send her back. Love Ya Talor
