Carmel Apples-Yummy
Last Saturday Elissa, Clark and kids and Michelle and kids came over to your house to dip Carmel apples. We dipped the apples in the carmel. Then we had milk chocolate and white chocolate to dip in. We had mini m&m's, pecans, sprinkles, and cinnamon to top them off. It was fun. We had a good time. It was great to have Clark with us. He always makes us smile. :) I love this time of year...

USU Marching Band
We took our whole Family and went to the USU vs UofU Football game a few weeks ago and Last Friday Eric and I went up to the USU vs BYU game. The Football games were a little boring but we went to watch Talor march in the Marching Band. Everyone asked Eric who he was wanting to win at the Utah game and he said Utah State and at the BYU game he said Utah State Marching Band. He just couldn't cheer against his good ol' BYU boys. He such a HOMER. :) It is fun to see Talor having a great time at school. She is meeting lots of new people and loves to go do things with them all the time. She went out with a boy in the band the other night. He was from Chicago. Come to find out they are distant cousins from Ebenezer Beesley. Boy the world is really small. Here are some pictures of her marching.
If you can pick her out of the next two pictures your the winner. Eric and I can't ever find her. At the BYU game Eric's sister Raquel and her family were there, they came over by us at half time to talk to us. I was showing where I thought Talor was to Raquel and Eric was showing where he thought Talor was to Todd. We were both showing them different people. We were even looking through binoculars. The really bad part was when we asked her where she was neither one of us was right.

We brought her home with us for conference week-end. It was fun to have her home. But I can certainly tell she is in the right place now. Because it feels right to send her back. Love Ya Talor

Crazy, Random Things
Ok I guess I got tagged and I have to come up with 7 crazy, random things about me that I am willing to admit. lol. Then I get to tag people.
1. I am missing a knuckle on my little fingers. Therefore my baby fingers are shorter than everyone elses.
2. I can't wear anything around my neck. Turtlenecks make me gag. Necklaces rub and drive me crazy. Bracelets I love to wear.
3. I don't mind cleaning fish when we go fishing. I haven't done it for years because I have never admitted it to Eric.
4. I don't like eating pears. It's not so much the taste as it is the texture. The are to gritty for me.
5. I have a hard time spending money on decorations for my house, but I spend money on plants for my yard like money grows on trees. Last fall I went looking for pretty pumpkins to put in my house. I could not bring myself to spend 30$ on one. Two days later I spent 40$ on pansies for my yard.
6. I am a secret Hollywood gossip fan. That one was hard to admit. I like to read all the dumb things they do.
7. Allie said I have to put I talk to myself out loud, all the time. I say something and she is the only one around she asks me what and I tell her I'm not talking to her.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone elses answers that I tag. I am tagging Kristi, Elissa, Katie and Aunt Melea

HOORAY FALL IS HERE
Fall is my Favorite time of year. I love the leaves changing. We drove to Logan last Sunday to go to church with Talor. Sardine Canyon was gorgeous. I have fall break the rest of this week that is why I am taking time to post some blogs. We have been so busy this fall.
I love the harvest and the canning. I did peaches (14 bottles, 2 batches of jam, and 5 frozen pie fillings), tomatoes (19 bottles of juice, 30 bottles of salsa and about another thing of salsa today) and raspberry Jam. I like canning I told my mom it is a good job to do, when your done your done and you have something to show for all the hard work. We also had some good corn on the cob, cucumbers, and crookneck squash from our garden. I also planted some herbs and we have enjoyed them too.
We have also been working hard in our yard this fall I bought about 50 new flowers and shrubs and a tree. Eric has been putting in drip irrigation and Friday and Saturday we will be putting some mulch down. I can't wait until next spring hopefully it will look good.
Can you see my new tree. In the middle. It is a weeping blue atlas cedar. I have wanted one for a long time. Eric says its sad that I torture a tree to make it grow horizontal. I tell him it will be beautiful.

The shrubs over grew my perennials this summer so I cut them all down and moved them forward. I hope the all live for next summer. Look how good the Revena Grass looks on the corner of my house.
We took out the grass in the park strip and put some water wise plants down. I hope it looks good. So much to do in the Fall but it makes next summer plants worth it.
Rumpelstiltskin Retold By Hannah
Hannah had to retell a Fairy tail in her 2nd grade class. She choose Rumpelstiltskin. She read the story several times so she knew it well. She made sack puppets for all the characters, with help from mom. Then she practiced her puppet show for a whole week before. When it came time for her show she was wonderful. Bravo Bravo
Running XC (cross country) In Green Shoes
Allie has been running XC for school. She is doing very well and even won her first award last Friday at her meet in Tremonton. She ran a 4K in 17 min. 33 sec. She took 7th in the JV race. She got a beautiful lime green ribbon. She jokingly said they got it from wal-mart 10 minutes before the race. I told her they could not have, sense there wasn't a wal-mart 10 minutes away in Tremonton. It matches her shoes. I think I should frame it for her. It would look good in her green room. She didn't know if she would run this year. She really was struggling through the summer with her asthma. I took her to her Dr. and he uped one of her med. and added another. She has been doing great.
Sorry I posted the pictures back words. This is at a region race at the Cottonwood complex
Getting ready for the End Sprint. Don't you love the green shoes.
Coming into the end.
Looking good and strong on the way down the hill after the big hill up.
Good start.
