HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH

Today is Hannah's Birthday. She is 8 years old. Wow! We celebrated with a friend party Friday evening up at the Lion House in Salt Lake City. All my girls had their
8th birthday parties there. We braved the very bad roads. Now I know what driving with white knuckles means. It is a great place to have that special party. They teach them about pioneers and Brigham Young and his family. They get a tour of the House. Then they play pioneer games, pull taffy, eat finger sandwiches, carrots and lemon aid on pretty little plates. They have cake and ice cream and open presents. The Lion house gives the birthday girl a prociline doll and a tiara. The birthday girl also gets a small bag filled with small treats. It has the same things that Brigham Young gave his kids. A penny, two sugar cubes and 12 raisin. They were to eat one raisin a month on the same day as their birthday then when the raisins were gone it was there birthday again. What a fun party. After we took a quick walk around to see the Christmas lights, before we braved the roads to go home.

Happy Birthday big Girl I hope it's a good one for you.

Christmas Music and Dancing

Last night we had our last Music concert or Dance Recital for this season. This year we only had three. Talor's wind ensemble, Josh's band concert and Hannah's dance recital. I love listening and watching my kids perform. It makes me a proud mama. I love listening to the music too.

Talor at her concert. It was a Sunday evening. So we took the three little kids and went up. Mo and Glen, Brent and Connie all came too. She has loved performing this year. No competitions or grades to worry about. Just playing music.

Josh at his concert. He loves to wear his Santa hat.

Hannah at her Dance recital. Don't you just love the candy can striped costume? I Do.

THANKFUL FOR...

I thought I would write some things I am thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Eric would have to be at the top of my list. He is my best friend. I love just being with him and going and do things with him. He works hard to take care of us and we all are greatful for that. He also will give me anything I want. WOW, how great is that.

My kids come next. I love being a mom it brings me some of the greatest joy in life. Talor, always can talk to me about anything. Allie, always makes me laugh and smile, Josh, tries his best to do his best in all things, Braden, aways willing to help me when I need it, and Hannah, keeps me young and girly.

My parents. What wonderful parents. So much to do and teach as a parent and they did a wonderful job. I am the person I am because of them. Thank You. Also I am greatful for you living close to us and all that you do for me and my family.
Erics Parents, For raising a good guy. And the example they are to me and my kids. For wonderful Traditions they do to keep a large family together.

Brothers and Sisters and their spouses. Both mine and Erics. All people I can look up to and want to be a better person because of them.

Nieces and Nephews. I can love, Hug, and Play with then send them home.

Extended family. The examples they are to me. Who teach me many things and keep traditions alive from those that I have lost and miss very much.

Friends and Nieghbors. People I can talk to and hang out with and just have a great time.

My Savior and his gospel. For his guidence in my life, and the peace, comfort and hope it brings me.

My Home. A place to keep me warm and HAPPY.

My Gardens. A place I love to work and give me color.

School for me and my kids. I have loved to learn, and love to send my kids to learn. :)
